
Tarvand Saffron co. established in 1962. With a central
office and private farmlands in Qayen, a
head office in Tehran and several offices in Torbat and
other saffron cultivating cities in part of Khorasan-Iran,
each year we deal with almost 14 Ton saffron and we not
only cover some needs of domestic market but also export
almost 7 ton saffron to different countries worldwide.
We have a very close co-operation with agricultural
ministry for improving the results of saffron
cultivating in Qayen and also our R&D department
(research and development) help farmers to use new
methods in cultivating and drying the saffron.
Tarvand
has a full equipped laboratory in Qayen for managing all
the
necessary analysis base on ISO 3632 standards.
All the saffron process manage in company, start from
cultivating and ed by final export packs, in order to
get the best result we select the most professional
stuff, all are graduated from the best universities of
country.
Each year we
deal with almost 14 ton saffron, it may be interesting
to know that this quantity is more than total saffron
production in Spain, Greece and India. We cover almost
20% of the Iran domestic consumption of saffron.
